Description
It's a grazing board, it's a burger board and it's a coaster or teapot stand too! Made from beautiful native Queensland Hoop, it will be a go-to in your kitchen when you’re serving up something special for yourself, or just want a touch of handcrafted charm on the table. Learn foundational woodwork skills as you make this neat little board in this beginner-friendly project. You will learn fundamental skills including accurate measuring and marking out, how to bore holes with a swing brace, and how to shape wood with rasps, files and then prep with sandpaper before applying natural wood finishes. This class is open to adult participants. If you are interested in having your high school aged child attend classes designed just for young people, please keep an eye on the website, or find us on Instagram and Facebook for upcoming dates and times. What to bring: Fully enclosed shoes, preferably leather. All other personal protective equipment will be supplied. Missed out on a spot? Don't worry! Upcoming Sessions
Booking and Cancellation Policy
The class fee includes a $20 booking fee. Cancellations made 7 days or more before the scheduled class will receive a refund minus the booking fee. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the class are non‑refundable, as materials and preparation have already been allocated. In the unlikely event that the class is cancelled, you have the option of a full refund if you have already paid, or to be assigned a place in the next available class.
